BLOG: Magician time  - August 2014

Also  time can be a magician. How? We can play with motor acuity. We usually take photos in such a way that we have everything sharp in the photo, so we take photos with no or minimal physical blur. However, it is often appropriate to use a smaller or larger physical blur. For an abstract concept of photography, it is often enough  ...

BLOG: What a photographer

may affect shooting  - August 2014

It is probably clear to everyone that a photographer can influence the composition of his shot when taking a photo. Most partially insiders often say: "Well, today everyone can take pictures of everyone else, but not everyone gets up with the camera to the right place" ...

BLOG: Message  - June 2014

Messages accompany us throughout our lives. We read them on birthday cards, on papers that roll on our table, on signs all around us and in letters and emails that we receive daily ....

BLOG: A kiss  - June 2014

In May, I had a photo kiss for Photoextract. I finished the review yesterday, it hasn't worked out yet and I asked if I had a photo with a kiss. I don't remember any, maybe just one, rather before a kiss ...

BLOG: Invention  - March 2014

Diagonal, it is a wonderful invention for photographers. It helps with composition, cropping and just to make the photo more interesting.

When composing  it can help especially with the golden ratio. For example, in the following photo, the upper left gold-cut point is used, thanks to which the viewer's eye is subconsciously guided to this place and the viewer can get the impression of harmony from this otherwise dynamic photo ...

BLOG: Birthday  - March 2014

I had a birthday yesterday. I have them every year, I usually celebrate them only modestly, but yesterday, because it came out on a beautiful Saturday, the day was a success.

A pleasant lunch with the family in Plzeň, our favorite restaurant. A walk with the dog and in the evening not only great pancakes with ice cream, whipped cream, fruit and so on, but also great cheese and wine.

And I also wished about a hundred people, most of them "only" on Facebook, but I have to stop the scarecrows that even though they were mostly personal wishes. Thank you very much for them.

BLOG: Iron doesn't matter - February 2014

So I spent a beautiful week on holiday in the Alps. During the winter, which did not know much about itself in our Central European basin, it was an oasis for every lover of skiing.

But what stopped me at the end of the week was that I didn't pull out my SLR camera for a whole week. And I had a tripod, a remote shutter, filters ...

I only took pictures with my mobile phone.

BLOG: Joys and worries of old age - February 2014

If we want to portray strangers, it is usually good to get to know them better. It is all the more difficult for older people. They are often distrustful, and if you gain trust, you may encounter a barrier of misunderstanding caused by being from another world for them. Otherwise, you will become distrustful because they tell you

BLOG: Object and its shadow - January 2014

Stay away (man), you're shading!

This sentence has probably been heard by everyone who takes photos at events, often in a more fundamental modification. Sometimes we shade, sometimes someone shades us and we should almost always count on the shadow when we take pictures.

I also often hear the sentence: and wouldn't it be possible without that shadow? Often yes, but why?
