Development of a black-and-white photographic film

Workshop for beginners:

In this workshop we will show not only how to develop a photographic film.

We will show the principles and insidiousness of light measurement and setting of exponometric values on a pre-prepared still life. We will take a picture of the still life. After that, we move outside the studio and repeat the setting of exponometric values outside. After that, we take other shots outside the studio and finally we call out the film in the studio in a dark chamber.

Take an analog camera and film with you to the course. If you don't have a movie, it doesn't matter, they will be available. You can take an already shot film, a few free fields of the film will be enough for you to take photos during the workshop.

The camera is more suitable for an advanced analog camera, with the ability to change basic parameters - time, aperture and sensitivity. If you only have an automatic analog camera, it is possible to use it, but it is not 100% certain what the results will be.

The workshop lasts 2 to 4 hours, depending on the number of participants. Of this, the first half hour to an hour of photography in the studio (still life), the second half hour to an hour of free outdoor photography, and the remaining time is devoted to developing the film and everything related to it.

The price of the workshop is listed on the current dates page. At this price, the chemistry is needed to develop the films. A film is not included in the price.

The workshop is designed for a minimum of one and a maximum of four participants.
