Magnification in analog photography - black and white photography

The workshop is also intended for beginners.

In this workshop we will show you different procedures and possibilities of enlarging in analog photography. I recommend that each participant take their own shot film, from which they will make enlargements. However, it is necessary not to have the film rolled into a roll, in this case it will not be possible to make it a magnification with thumbnails (ie it is ideal if the film is cut into straight strips in several boxes). Larger photos will be possible.

In the workshop we will show the creation of previews from the film and the subsequent creation of several smaller enlargements.

After that we will show the enlargement of the selected field of the film to a larger format of about 18 x 24 cm.

The duration of the workshop is about 2 to 3 hours depending on the number of participants.

​

The workshop is designed for a maximum of two participants due to the smaller space in the photo chamber.

Participants will take home preview contact copies of their film (if possible), a few selected smaller previews, and one large magnification from a selected box of the film.

I recommend wearing clothes that won't bother you with any splashes of photographic chemicals. Usually they cannot be washed perfectly.
