My diary 2017-2018 - evening
The original size is 132 x 100 cm.
I compiled the collage in 2022.
Every day between 2017-02-27 and 2018-03-13 I always wrote one sentence in the morning and in the evening. These are sentences that came to my mind. Something I was thinking, something that followed me.
I also took one photo every day during this interval. He has one photo every day.
In this collage, there is one photo that I created that day and it contains the evening sentence that I wrote down that day.
The first part is at the top left and corresponds to the date 2017-02-27. Then everything follows to the right of the line. There are 19 parts on each line - they correspond to nineteen days.
The collage has a total of 20 lines.
The last part is at the bottom right and corresponds to the date 2018-03-13.
For a total of 380 days, I wrote down an evening sentence for a photo every day.
This painting has its twin (named My Diary 2017-2018 - Morning), where there are morning sentences. Each morning sentence belongs to the same photo. So both images look the same from a distance. The pictures have the same photos, because they have one and the same photo every day.
But in one picture are the morning sentences of each day and in the other image are the evening sentences of each day.
During this more than a year period, I took pictures every day and wrote one sentence in the morning and in the evening. I saved everything and in 2022 the moment came when I decided to finish everything and create a planned collage. I worked on the final version with breaks for about a month.Because many different events take place during the day, the morning and evening sentences have no direct connection with the photographs of the day. When I wrote the morning sentence, I didn't know what to take as a photo of the day. And when writing the evening sentence, I usually didn't think about the photo of the day anymore. This means that there are more planes in the image that tell about each day. The morning sentence speaks of morning thoughts. The photo of the day tells about something that happened during the day and it was crucial for me. And the evening sentence reflects the end of the day, my evening mood, my feeling of the whole day, sometimes even the answer to the morning sentence ...
The Way is the Purpose
The work of the author Vit Madr, which is strictly based on mobile and computer applications and programs. It is a conceptual art, the output of which is a collage of applications.Individual works are often created for more than one year. They are unmistakable and their form and content depend on the intended concept, not on how the author would like.
Painting paths
My various actions recorded in the processes of my conceptual art.
There is only one specimen. There is only one original for sale.
My everyday drawing - 01
original size 100 x 100 cm.
I created the collage in 2019
Every day, I created a simple drawing by hand using an application on my mobile phone.
I worked on this work from May 2018 to March 2019.
I combined the resulting individual drawings into one large collage.
It was fun :-)
The image for META world is on offer at OpenSea in the vitmadr profile.
If the buyer at the NFT marketplace gives me his postal address and if he is interested, I will create an original print for him in the original size and send it signed by regular mail. I send the print curled into a roll in a tube.
My everyday drawing - 02 (Inverse variant)
original size 100 x 100 cm
I created the collage in 2019
Every day, I created a simple drawing by hand using an application on my mobile phone.
I worked on this work from May 2018 to March 2019.
I combined the resulting individual drawings into one large collage.
Subsequently, I created an inversion of the overall work.
It was fun :-)

My drawing 2018 - 2019
As part of this concept, in the period from 2018-06-08 to 2019-08-06, I created one small drawing every day.
I incorporated the resulting drawings into this collage.
That period is in fact 425 days long. There are only 400 photos in the collage. Yes, I forgot to draw 25 times :-)
I put the resulting collage together at the end of 2019.
The final size is 100x100cm.

Colored squares 2019-2020
In the interval between February 27, 2019 and April 1, 2020, I painted one colored square on a colored background in the mobile application every day. This created a total of 400 square drawings. At the top left is a drawing I created on February 27, 2019, and then there are successive drawings created in the following days. Everything continues on the next lines. The last drawing, which is created on April 1, 2020, is located at the bottom right. I remember there was a covid here. And I wondered if this endeavor of mine would ever be of any use ...
In the spring of 2022, I gathered all these squares together into one collage. It was a beautiful job that I enjoyed.
During the creation of the collage, I was surprised many times that there are often very similar drawings next to each other. This is despite the fact that I deliberately did not look at what I had drawn the day before that day. But I was even more surprised that sometimes the drawings are very similar to each other in the columns. And this is very interesting, because 20 days have passed between these drawings. However, each drawing had a predetermined place according to the order in which I drew it. I did not move any drawings so that they were not similar. And I saw the result when the whole work was done. That is, when I put all 400 drawings together in one collage. When the final collage was done, I slightly reduced the color saturation. And I also created an inverse version.
The dimensions of the resulting collage are 100 x 100 cm.
I created the whole collage in the spring of 2022.

Squares in gray 2019-2020
In the interval from April 16, 2019 to April 3, 2020, I drew one square on a gray background every day. Why a square and why on a gray background? At that time, I had been working for some time on the project of colored squares on different colored backgrounds. And because I wanted to do a less colorful project, I chose this topic within the concept.
I arranged the square drawings in the final collage in the spring of 2022. In the collage, the boundaries between the drawings are not obvious because they do not have significant edges. The gray background area of all the drawings thus merges into one whole, in which the smaller drawn squares are. The collage contains a total of 361 drawings of squares on a gray background. Each drawing was created in one day. At the top left is a drawing created on April 16, 2019, and to the right are further drawings. Everything continues on the next lines. The last drawing is at the bottom right and corresponds to the drawing on April 3, 2020.
Some squares next to each other are quite similar. Nowadays, when I write these lines, I no longer remember how much I was inspired by the square from the previous day when drawing each square. In any case, I did not move any squares, they are all arranged exactly in the order in which I drew them. Several times, but not very often, I forgot to make a drawing that day. So in several cases, I allowed myself to create two drawings, one for the previous day.
Because I am a photographer by profession, I also know the inverse versions of the images very well. so I created an inverse version for this collage as well.
I created the resulting collage in the spring of 2022.
The dimensions of the collage are 100 x 100 cm.
